Equipment Rental

Our mission is to provide audio-visual equipment and services for instructional, research, and service activities across campus. Whether you’re an organization, teaching department, or student, you can use the ISC. Daily fees are charged for all rentals with equipment available on a first-come, first-served basis. Special rates apply to students and/or equipment used within the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences buildings. Reservations are recommended.

Rental fees are applicable and are used to maintain and replace equipment as needed. Payment methods are as follows:

  • Faculty/Staff/Departments: Equipment/service fees will be charged to the departmental account provided. Billing is itemized on a quarterly basis via IRIS. If equipment rental is for personal use, you will be required to prepay before taking the equipment. Equipment use is limited to instructional, research, and service purposes.
  • Student Rentals: Students are allowed a 24-hour free rental period which is covered by their fees. The following steps must be followed:
  1. Pick up a reservation card in the ISC.
  2. Obtain a signature from the full-time faculty/staff person authorizing your rental.
  3. Return the card to the ISC with all information completed and work with our staff to ensure you reserve the correct equipment for your needs.
  • Alternative Student Rental Method #1
  1. Have the full-time faculty/staff person authorizing your rental to send an e-mail to Bonnie Maples, administrative coordinator of the ISC. This will take the place of picking up a card and obtaining a signature.
  2. Upon reserving the equipment, inform ISC staff that an email has been sent so that they may retrieve it to accompany your order.
  3. Work with the center’s staff to ensure you reserve the correct equipment for your needs.
  • Alternative Student Rental Method #2
  1. Have your professor complete an online equipment request form.
  2. Come to the center with your student ID or other form of identification and inform us that an online request was made.
  3. Work with the center’s staff to ensure you reserve the correct equipment for your needs.

***NOTE: All equipment reservations are subject to equipment availability at the time of order. We strongly encourage advance reservations.
